HI Cheshire!, Thanks for your compliments . I didn't know about this whole thing here, I would never have checked my messaged here. So thanks!, It's actually quite cool.

In zbrush you can paint a mask on your object, lets say for example a circle with a hole in the middle. Then under the subtools menu, hit 'extract', and it will create a new mesh from the masked portion. Then, you can model on this mesh, and when done, hit 'project all' , to bake it back into the original model.

This can be used to model ripped clothing, armour, buttons, and many other things.

I didn't know there was such an option to create torn fabric in Zbrush.. I mean I'd know how to import a low poly mesh with "holes" in it and then detail it in Zbrush, but how do you create "holes" (torn fabric for instance) in Zbrush?
Did you import a low poly mesh?
