Shader model 3.0 cards were implemented around directx9c, so unless you get a really pos integrated graphics card from like 5 years ago you should be ok. I think like anything after the 6600 GT...

it runs fine on my old core2 duo 1.6with 1gb til you start to reach about a million verts - make sure you've got loads of memory and you'll be reet :D

well i have a dual core 2.2 4gig and 512mb gpu laptop for my small out of home works and it runs zbrsuh, max without any problems. so you should find something similar for 300 pounds easy.

Well zbrush really isn't picky. A duel core and a decent graphics card will run it just fine. The only thing you don't want to skimp on is the ram, and that max's out at 4 gigs.
