Can anyone help me with this simple pinching?

Hi guys,

Fairly new to 3d modelling, can anyone help me with this pinching? I thought I was doing it right... until I turned turbosmooth on and got this:

It's because you have large n-gons with unwelded verts rimming the outside of the square. You need to continue the loops all the way round. (You seem to have the gist of edge reinforcement down, as the bolthole is fine.) Just apply the same principle to sharpen up the edges and get rid of the n-gons. (The crazy mesh issue is caused by a broad rectangle trying to smooth, but lacking the geometry to match the opposing circle. One polygon cannot match the smoothing pattern of four.
