Hi guys, I'm going to make a "doujin" of Furukawa Nagisa. She is the heroine of Clannad, a Japanese visual novel developed by Key.
I shall make my work in two style. One is a "figma" style, and the other is a realistic style. I admit there is a chasm between 2d anime and 3d, so there might be some glitches in this model. I am looking forward to any kinds of comments. Now, I have come to the step two: the realistic style Here is one render-test. As you can see, there are still some problems with my model, and I'll be glad to hear your advice. Thank you for your visit! Last edited by Lincoln_li; 02-04-2012 at 02:02 PM.. |

Not really sure what u mean by the styles because I don't know anything about manga. The rocks look flat and u could make the lighting a lot more dynamic to emphasise a mood.
Good modelling ![]() |

What I want to create is a complete 3d character, this "figma" is just my frist step of learning this character. |

if you are going for realistic style, then for skin, go for SSS. it'll make her look more alive. and above all, the environment you have put her into is looking a bit flat.
