Zbrush: creating chain

Hello,

im trying to create a simple chain using zspheres and "insert local mesh", but everytime im trying it nothing works as needed

can somebody share their experience with creating chains in zbrush?

Given the simple nature of chains, it's probably easier just to make them up in your modeling package and import em over if you want to put wrinkles in them or whatever zbrush folk do.
