Great concept and u seem off a good start. I'd make its head a lil less round, bigger vertically if you will.

I look at the reference shot and then at your model and I don't think the Y shaped piece on the forehead is an extrusion, but rather the outline is actually a seam between two plates. The blue light (upper head portion, left and right sides I presume) are set inside those seams.

Conversely, it appears that the piece that sits inside the two arms of the Y shape is an extrusion because there appears to be a slight shift in height matching up with its shape as it wraps around to the back of the head.

Feel free to ignore me though if you're not trying to do a perfect reproduction but rather your own interpretation of the design.

Nice start. But maybe do not start refining and adding detail, just the the shape and forms correct first then detail it.

Looking good with the material and light setup you posted..

I am no big fan of forearms with those hard edges. You could make them more interesting by making them more curvy or just remove them to be in sync with the rest of the model.
