Author: A.Alvarez Website: http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com Image Title: Forest Path Software Used: Maya, Mental Ray, Onyx, Zbrush Description: I've been doing a ton of work lately with natural environments trying to improve my workflow while consistently building my library of custom made plants and trees. 110 million polys via particle and manually placed instances. 1.5 days start to finish, in part thanks to my growing library... plants are all custom paint effects, trees from onyx, ivy from ivyGen, mental ray with physical sun/sky and all miaMaterialX. |

wow, that looks very nice! well done, and indeed; A making of would be cool
. I would maybe add a very subtle depth of field to add to the realism .

Only thing which bugs me is the path cos it's missing some bump.
Good work!
