Building

Hi all this my new work, hope you like that. Actually i'm working on a inn (heroic-fantasy) for a friend (& for his RPG ). But the roof cause me some problems because i don't know how i can do that.

Well for a traditional flat/commercial roof, let the walls rise above roof level like a railing of sorts. Flat roof material is normally small gravels. Pipes and skylites protruding above roof level will help add to realism.

A roof with pitch/angle will be a bit more complicated. I normaly use simple planes (triangular for hip styles or rectangular for gable style) for each roof section. Pitch/angle is usually determined by.....pitch= rise x span. hth some

looks good... only the roof.. its way 2 flat... maybe use a railing indeed

Yea Kealo you right
After the roof making, i must do the street & others buildings (more simple) for the background. When it will be finished (and when i receive my 3d total cd textures ) i'll texturing it & render.
