Short Film: AJ - Private Detective

AJ is a Private Detective and this short animation shows how he breaks in criminals hideouts and how does he deals with badguys. He is a man with attitude.

Actually it's been a while I made this animation but I wasn't posted it here before. So I just wanted to share it with you folks too.

I wanted to create an action scene like John Woo movies. I really enjoy doing this, and I hope you enjoy watching it.

It's a very violent and ****** short, BUT I LOVE IT because of that! Very nice work. You did a very excellent job on the credits. They were very original.


My only crit is that his coat looks like a piece of thing plastic being blown by a huge industrial fan.

Ok, first of all I LOVED IT!!!
These are the things I loved about it:

First of all the style, everything in this department is perfect. From the opening shot to the credit music.

The animation is not perfect but it works wonderfully with the style of the film.

And the character models!

There are a few things however, that could use some improvement.

If you had spent as much time with the environmental models (props and stuff like that), as you had with the animation, it would have enhanced the "quality feel" of the project.

some of the effects are simply not good enough. Especially when he shoots through the table.

All in all though great little short. I'm going to go watch it again right now .
