hey looks really good so far, this is easily workable into something really nice
The materials on the pieces look odd because they sort of have a highlight around them, like theyre velvet. The wood on the outside looks unnatural, but thats probly cus its just the max procedural. Get a more interesting lighting setup and some dramatic angles and ull have a great work here! |

ares? as in Ares from NFSCars.net ?
If not, sorry. Looking good so far. I agree on the wood material. Post the mat settings for the chess pieces. Alternately, try making them out of clear and coloured glass maybe? Would add a new twist to it, looking through a piece at the other side, through a pawn's eyes, maybe? Apart from that, good start. Chrz FCDesigns2002 |
