Cave Scene
my new privat scene, a cave with some technical stuff. use xsi and mental ray.
the "global" lights are final, 4 area lights with gi computation. the details are displacements with some bumps for finer details. more will follow. |

Nice displace and shaders. But I get this feeling of miniature. i dont know why but I think its the pedistals that give me that illusion. Looking good tho

i changed the light colors and its intensity.
i added a lava hole thing in the middle of the scene and placed lights to it to increase the depth and size feel. the "lamps" for the lights will follow. c&c please. |

ooo I really like the last one. It reminds me of dungeon 5 on Zelda : a link to the past.

I agree the last one looks the best!, but get rid of the orange glow from the right side of the picture :P and i think the floors slightly to shiney for a cave
but i'm liking it!
