Level of detail?
Hey!
I am doing a school project(i rom with alot of things in), and the techer have spoken of animating a camera flying around in al the romms that the students have made. Now, i realy whant to make my things as photo relistic as posible, but this takes alot of pollygons. I dont realy know what detail level i can lay on, for example, i have made a rug with alot of objects scatter around the surface, in this case i dont know how much scater i could have. Is there any funktion in 3DMax that i can connect som parameters to and then in the end adjust this parameters so i get more or less details? //Jimmy

hello Snowjim
not sure quite what you mean..but you can model in low polygons....then set meshsmooth for render only..so when you render at least your models will look more detailed.Textures are always important...and lighting is always the big thing....correect lighting will make your render more realistic for you ciao |
