make the blade longer.....the piece where you hold it longer too

and right now you could reconsider those pointy points(hehe) pointing towards the wielders arm....cause those could hurt himself

The shape looks fine, but it looks like the sharp edge might have too many polys - hard to tell from the wireframe camera angle. Try texturing it and see how it looks - often a model will look bad until textured, then look great

Yeah, there's several wasted polys, but it is a nice blade. My first thing would be to weld the lines along the side of the blade. Here:

I would recommend welding the red lines together into the blue one, which would be more like a real sword anyways.

The only other thing I don't like is what someone said above, the points coming back towards your arm. The one protecting the knuckles is fine, but the one that would come back over your thumb and the knife acting as a pommel, those ones could hurt you pretty badly, and easily.

But otherwise, good Keep it up :P

Jedianakinsolo i tried welding those verts but it dosent look like what i wanted. I dont think the spikes round the hand would matter. I fliped part of the sword around and tweaked lots of little bits its starting to look better now.

I'd flip the pommel up the other way so that the hand guard is on the side with the two hooked parts on the blade. Generally when you see characters holding fancy swords like this they curve up rather than down.

For practicality you might want to smooth out that sharp corner on the inside of the hand guard and replace the point on the end of the blade with a detail that the user is less likely to impale himself with in the heat of battle. Those are more considerations than necessary alterations though.
