Free Music/Sound Effects

Hey people do know of any site that provides free sounds like car crash, bullet fire, laser beam and all those effects.

Thanks Freespace. Right now I'm checking these sites. Tell me where do you get the music/sounds you use in your shorts? And how did you get the new music for Speedfactor?

I use music from movies/games, but I will give credit to each and every producer/artist in the credits. As for the sounds, whenever a game rests on my HDD, I copy the sounds from it and store it in my evergrowing database of sounds.

SpeedFactor's music is Stratus - You Must Follow from NFS:MW, it's the same as before.

I wish I could get more sounds from games, but these days, alot of them seem to be protected in some kind of format.

Hi, if you look for music, some times is better to contact with a composer interested in the project and have him to create an original score for your project...

I'm a professional composer but sometimes, if the project is interesting I can work for free just for fun. I guess there are many composers like me.

Can you imagine doing a short animation using the charactes of another short ?? (let's imagine you can extract de characters from a short like you do with audio)Some times I feel like this when I watch shorts with music from another movies...
