They're looking too humanoid to me...I'd like to get a robotic look, but of course as i've never rigged a character before (Which is going to be fun...) i'd like to try and keep things simple.

Any pointers on what i could do? I'm going to carry on making ideas, i've drawn about 6-8 characters now, so just playing with ideas.

i think you should get to understand/learn basic anatomy first. And dont get into detail too quick...since it looks like you are trying to detail it out while drawing the rest...if you know what i mean....

first draw the basic shape....then detail it out

Yeah i've studied a little bit on Anatomy actually Just havent incorperated it into these so much...mainly cause theyre robots and have different propertions...i know on like the 4th design the legs are WAY too small...

I just dont get how you can do an outline and then add detail, especially on things like this...Just weird, any pointers or?

I did draw a bigger/better version of the 'Medieval-ish' concept, but i need to do it again on a larger piece of paper.

Regards

Rite, people will be pelased to know (Or not so pleased) That i've been doing a few drawings at work, bsaically the same as one of the characters above, however i drew a base-plate of the character basically...ie as if it wasent wearing armout, then drawed the armour etc over that, so hopefully things like proportions / anatomy etc will be a tad better...

As im at work i cant post an update, but i will try and do it when i get home

One thing i need to do it make it more 'robot' like i guess. See you guys later, absoloutely loving everybodys work!
