When posting your final image please upload it on an external server (imageshack.us preferably) and use the image tag.

Please include the following in your post:

Your name
Short description of the image
Technical details (how long it took, what software did you use etc.)
(OPTIONAL) A link to your WIP thread if you created any

Don't forget that the minimum accepted width/height is of 1024!

A winter version of the starting image.
7-10 hours for the image and another 40 hours agonizing over everything

I used photoshop CS2 and expanded the canvas to the left.
I never set out to entirely replace the sky but I start painting the hills and just kept going.
This is my first matte painting challenge and my second matte, any shared tips or info. would be fantastic!
