AVATAR – 3D – munkybuttballs – ‘Harmony’
Hi Guys,
I have come up with a concept for a character that lives in a world of true harmony, meaning that the forces of good and evil are harmonious with each other, when one good thing happens an equal and opposite reaction must occur somewhere else in this world, thus creating an equal equation resulting in true harmony. There will be more to this outline as I do more research and develope my idea, but this is what I will start with, here is a quick sketch that I did: *** updated

Hello
This sounds funny, i'm trying to imagine your world but it's really complicated.
But what's happening if something can't be qualified as good or evil ![]() I wonder how will you represent the harmony, it's not so easy. Your idea seems really interesting, i will be back. |

well the thing is rather than the creatures actions being judged as good or evil, they just are good or evil, it is their nature. The whole idea is based around the theory of a balanced equation, ie a bad guy kills a person, at the same time on another part of their planet a good guy brings a person to life, thus equal and oposite reactions. Theoritically you could argue that the reasoning behind why the creatures did those actions determines whether they are good or evil, but I want to keep it simple and therefore easier to represent.

About the good side one:
Maybe the yin yang symbol on a biggest stomach would seem more interesting. And maybe with round ears he would seem more "good", i don't know why but people generally associate pointing ears with daemons and evil things...(but it's in our world) I like its big foots, maybe even bigger. Washka the maybe man ![]() |

hey guys, thanks for the coments,
washka: I think I am happy with his proportions, I don't want him to become over lob sided if you know what I mean, and as for his smile, I am going to take him into mudbox fairly soon and sort all that out whilest adding some more detail into the model, this is just the base mesh so far. FireSunFox: Cheers dude, I am enjoying devoloping the ideas that I am coming up with,
