IV makes the most sense with what you're going for... the mouth/belly thing seems out of place/unneccesary for having the duel-cannons; nothing should ever get close enough where he'd have to use it

thanks joseph. im trying to play around with no4 and develop it more. here's a sketch.
![]() i think that cannon on his back needs alot of work. im trying to make the cannon look more like a cannon and deadlier. probably what i need now is to get some sleep and do another sketch tomorrow >_< |

Actually think that the concept you've worked on lends itself well for a scout. It's got nice sleek lines, but can also defend itself if push came to shove.

I Second Beindulin's comment. Sleek works well, don't clutter it up for the sake of cluttering it up.
Could maybe use a small gun in one of his forearms tho, as a secondary weapon.

Possible idea
I think that your concept is looking good. I just had an idea that you might want to consider.
With the circles on the head, it looks like they could be lasers of some kind. And maybe the head is attached to the front of the laser/energy cannon like a PEZ dispenser. So in normal config the power goes through the head and out the eyes. But when it needs a to fire a big shot, the head flips up or drops down and fires. Just an idea.. good luck. |

thanks for the suggestion car17.
i think making this into a scout would be a good idea. probably change the legs just a little bit more. im thinking he runs like a cat and he crouches when he needs to fire the cannon. in close combat he will stand up n use his gun or claws. the gun probably will be mounted on his forearm. thanks for the input Warlock & Beindulin i think i'm gonna try and make more sketches of this design as war machine (massive.. make it look heavier) and as scout and see which design would work better. hopefully by tonite i will have made a decision. plan to start modeling asap |

Nice, you last concept has some good starting points for a model. I think it looks a little organic in shape and pose though, you might want to try to push the machine idea a bit further, even if you're looking to get a slightly organic final look.

the lenses on the head could be arranged in a different way. Definately push the mech aspect of things - runs like a cat but is 100% machine, ya know?

im sketching the war machine and scout designs atm. i think still needs to push the mech aspect more. nvm ill just post the designs i got now so that i can decide which way to go. ![]() scout (left).. war machine (right) the sketches are not 1:1 scale. still dont like the scout legs for now. probably gonna change it again. which one should i go for? |
