DWIV - 3D - Fixor - Eckhart
Hello,
First DW for me! Here's my guy: ECKHART Description: Eckhart is a Demon Prince, unleashed to the DW universe to peel, cut, flay and crush. He's mastering the Cizors, his twin flesh tearing blades of Darkness - no one and nothing can resist. One day, he peeled off the skin and sand the bone of his face in endless suffering, to replace it by one of a beautifull young woman he loved... but that's another story.(Note: he is not a really good plastic surgeon, to be honest). Feared and hated among the Demon hordes, he swings frenetically his Cizors whatever is around: human, elf, cyborg, other demons, or even his own car. Some people have a bit of a temper when you call them "Chiken". Eckhart is like that when he laughs. Early sketch: ![]() Checklist: - Belt with 3DTotal Logo - Big mittens - Toolset hanging on his working clothes (need more doco for the tools) - Big harness to support the weight of the tools and the big Cizors when docked on his back - Big working shoes with protection against blood. - He wears somebody else skin head like a hood stiched around his neck. the eyes socket of the hood dont'fit really well. - He needs something from a demon: spine? First Orthos WIP ![]() New proportions - The silhouette is characterized. - Some ideas for the "Demon attribute". ![]() |

Looks like a pretty solid start. Something with the spine would be the most subtle approach though perhaps a little less than you have now. Maybe the bones on the outside down the length of the spine would work well?

I'm thinking the first orthos proportions are better suited for this comp than the second batch of thumbnails.
The first one, gives off a powerfull feel where as the second one, looks more like he would be an underling, doing nasty jobs for the king or the guy in charge. |

Pretty good design, but I agree with Toe, the first one is more solid. The horns study is pretty good though. keep it up

I'd have to agree as well. The first looks badass, should go with that and develop it a little. Second looks more like a cartoon character.

agree with the others, the early sketch has a real nice vibe. would be nice to see some of the changes from the later concepts too, giving it a more interesting silouette. although maybe horns should be avoided as your gonna see 90% of entries this year with horns.. something unique could add a nice flavour to an already great design

The first proportions were better imo. It would look cool if you incorporated the spines in it.

Sweet guys! Thank you all for passing by and giving your feedback, really appreciated!
As unanimously suggested, I'm going for the first proportions - probably with the spine ![]() Here is some Front Orthos WIP. ![]() |

Nice render of your concept. I feel that the left hand is missing something, but once you add the weapon should balance that bracelet on his right-hand. It keeps dragging my eyes to that hand and ignoring the rest of him.

Great concept. His face still don't have feel of stretched skin, but i guess it's still quite rough sketch. Anyway, I like
