DWIV - 3D - Cordero - Vega
I think its time to join the fight, and win another war for 3dt. If i can't keep up with my own comrades, how could i beat the guys from the other site?
So, after i've finished my last work yesterday, i decided to enter, and begin to catch up to you guys. Everyone is doing awesome, must check all the threads, coz i can't stop watching So, i'm gonna do a Norm stalker, called Vega. I did the upper body in 3d today, and will do the legs later. I'm going to paint on the front view on PS, so its halfway between the 3d modell, and the concept I'm going to post the first WIP asap! So don't forget to come back later, and c&c my work, coz i really need it. |

First concept. Still not sure what to do with the chest armor, but i might place some armor where the muscles are. Hard to do cool effects on a stealth character, coz it supposed to be unattractive, to be more 'stealthy'. I'm not sure about the skin color. Its the blue part on the picture, maybe i'll try dark red.
Will add the missing parts later. Already have an idea for them, just need to detail it a little bit. I think, i will set the model in a special pose, which fits more to a stealthy character, and makes it easier to animate ![]() |

Added the head, its not complete. I'm thinking about the mouth. It must be special, because the character can't see, but he will see by creating voice, and the reflections will show the area. Like bats
So the mouth is important, must create something sweet and nice. The tattoos are going to be a defensive relic, its on the chest piece which is an armor. Still no sure what to do with it I just put a weapon there, nothing special, just to be cool will draw a nice idea for an assassin.Hope you like it! Hit me with c&c please |

Added some details. Finished the hand in 3d, and also the foot. But it looks silly on the concept, so i didn't added it. Will see on 3d what can i do for it.
I really like it, but i'm not confident at the moment with some small things. I think i will meditate on it for a while.. no too long The body, the legs, and the hand are already complete in 3d.Some feedback would be nice, coz i'm not sure, that i'm doing it right ~thanks |

...in my opinion, loose the blindfold, drop the shoulders a bit, make the stomach area shorter and make some feet i want to see what u got planned for shoes ! cool stuff keep it coming.

I think he needs a little more to add to his silouette. Right now he is basically just a ninja with goggles. I like the colors and patterns you have going, but he needs something just a little more dynamic in my opinion.

Yeah, you are right. Pretty average right now. Will think of something really cool. A real weapon, and some change in the guy's appearing would do it perfectly.

Decided to drop the first idea to trash, and come up with something more like me
) Hope you like the first concept of this fella. Will add some armor on the leg, and i think i'll do a big mace for him. comment please! |

Looks like a good idea! I like this chap much better than the first one... though it looks less intelligent that the first character.
What kind of race/class is it? |

About the intelligence, you are right
i said, i come up something more like me About the race, and class: I'm sure, i'm going to make a norm! I think its a warlord. First i thought i'm gonna make a stalker, but i failed.. the big arms, and the small legs don't fit with a stalker class, and i wanted to keep this design. So i decided to finish it as a warlord. I must do a no1. quality weapon for maximum effectiveness. First, i thought that i'm gonna make a staff, but its really hard to find a good staff design. And also, the staffs are more swift weapons. And with this arm, he could move something heavier, and more deadly Sword is not his type, and axes aren't mine. So the only thing left is mace..![]() Thanks for comment, hope you will check back later at the 3d part ![]() |

I didn't mind elements of the first one, but the second one certainly stands out more. Put the red eyes from the first onto the second and I'll be happy!

Thanks Buzzy and discmage for the comments! I will try to mix the red eye from the first to this, maybe it will look cool
![]() I'm at 8,214 tris so far. I'm doing the shoulders right now. I think it will be complete at sculpting, because i was thinking on a head there. Maybe a mechanic on the right, and a demon to the left. Or a monkey head to both sides I would like to know what do you think about the mace, because right now i don't know what to think![]() I'm going to drop the armor on the arm, because its use a lot of tris, and its.. crap i like that style much better on the leg. I'll also modify the chest piece, with something more extreme.I was thinking that a nice tail with some brutal armor could improve the whole model. Considering, that i have ~1800 tris left, and probably will have more, after remodeling the arm pieces. Anyway, would like to know what do you think! |

Hey guys! Its been a long time, since i posted here. I made some progress, here is where i'm right now. I started doing the uvw map, i think i'll be able to finish this in time.
The two box from the gun is for the ammo, i'll bend it after uvwing it. The weapon is a flamethrower and a machine gun in one. The two thingy at the shoulders are liquid "poison" which will be release with the flame, so the burned skin will be poisoned immediately. The machine gun is for the mechanic units i think this weapon counts as one, so i'm good in norm category.The model is 9964 tris now, and i'll do a paint over, to see which colors will fit the Destruction Unit of Monkeys. What do you think? |
