Barbarians
"They stood proud, husband and wife, up, on the last free cliff. Beneath them, the orchish hordes of Lum'Zadul were ready for the final assault.
-May we meet again down the great halls of Valhalla, wife, said Gunthar. -May you stand at the right of Thorr, husband, wispered Gritta. And as the orcs attacked, hurling along the narrow path to their abode, they kissed for a last time". |

This is a nice pic. I am going to move it to the concept thread as you have a nice concept behind the characters
Comments... Bad cropping is my only comment...you shouldn't crop the femal off at the bottom...it would look better if there was a little space there |

Thank you for looking
Tempest811 - first of all, great name. Second, he has to be big and swollen, that's how I intended 'cause, whatever you may say, he looks awfull strong and determined. I gues you don't wanna upset someone like him. The swords, well... hers or his?
Dan, nice to hear of you again. Sorry for the bad croping, but when I start drawing is not like I think before what I wanna do. In fact, the girl was the first and then the man. First there was intended for a dragon to sit behind her, wings spread, roaring, but I kinda change my mind. |

Ya I don't always think of what I am going to draw until I start, but I still map it out before adding details so my composition looks good. |

awesome details, really well done. although in my opinion, the man looks a lot better than the woman, who is in a very strange pose, and just doesnt look as good as teh male character.

Yeah,
This is definately a good sketch/drawing...It wasnt done in Photoshop was it ?
Also, the Male bears a striking resemblance to Conan ![]()

Conan, yeah.
After many years of Schwarzenegger domination on the Conan character it's no wonder you find resemblances. But no, my barbarian is no cimerian in origins, but a nordsman. Maybe I was influenced by the movie when I was drawing this, I don't realy remember. And, no, it was not realised in Photoshop. Just some paper and a pencil.

I never thought to try to color them, it seems to me there would be a great risk to tuin them. They look cooler in black and white. But I think your ideea deserves consideration.

In the begining it was because I didn't know how to make one (I still don't know), but then I thought is better that I don't have one . Think at the paradox it would create: an Avatar having his own avatar

Avatar - awesome drawing.
Please let me apologize before you see my next post, I usually do not alter others artwork but I was inspired by your drawing. I'm sorry but this is not intended to offend you at all.
