Movie Mashup - Monstropolis INC - dopefish
for this challenge i would like to combine Fritz Lang's 1927 film Metropolis with pixar's Monsters INC. Let's see how that goes!

ok, i am kinda finished with mike wazowski here, now I will put him to work on a machine the workers were maneuvering in the film. i put pictures so you see alot better what i'm talking about.

this is the look I'm kind of aiming toward. there is still some work to be done especially in texturing end illumination, but here goes:
![]() so far i used GIMP for post-processing. PS: now I see that those light bulbs are misaligned.

i think it's quite finished! i lightened up his skin like you said. anyway, here is the render! post-processing in GIMP+phooshop, modelling in 3dsmax, rendered in VRay. the render is 1280x960, aspect ratio 4:3.
