Hi Tiago and welcome
I see some interesting style of painting and using photoshop filters like poster edges and glowing edges some kind of this ... Could you tell me more about this? Thank you in advance.

Thanks Kitana! I don't use much of a filters, but i do i use poster edges in the final process of some works, usually i duplicate the layer of the illustration and use the filter with these settings: edge tickness:1, edge intensity: 0, posterization on max:6, now i merge this layer, but not at 100% opacity... usually around 50% as u see its almost nothing, also in the end I always use unsharph mask, same process, duplicate layer and with around 40-50% merge it.
Other than that, i work a lot in the final stages with the levels, color balance and curves of my works to make it with the color tones i'm looking for, because when painting the colors are almost there, but to make it all look more realistic, its good to work on the levels, color balance and curves, at least thats my way, there's lots of ways to do stuff in photoshop. hope it helped ![]() |

Nice images indeed. I would avoid using filters as you did in the dragon image (they show up too much) but since that image is halfway towards a matte painting I guess you had no choice if you wanted to blend the elements.
The sci-fi girl is very nice, soft, pastel-ish colors, good anatomy. Compared with the straight lines of the architectural design around, the projected screens are kind of rough. I think you could've used shapes to construct the overall screen formation then just play with perspective in PS to fit them to the scene. The orc is a nice, dynamic image, good colors 'tho I can see some anatomical issues here and there. His left wrist twists a bit too much and you can't see the thumb making the form a bit forced. Overall, great effort and nice images. I hope to see more of your work.

Well up until now i thought filters were a bit gimmicky,
Thankyou for the humbling experience your work is nice. I suppose those Filters fill a niche in your style i hardly noticed they were there. Mik'
