Dominance War V - 3D - God of the Tundra - Flakked
Hey guys, here's my idea for Dom War V.
Just have an image board atm...working on concepts right now. Have a basic base mesh as well. ![]() Going for a Barbarian/warrior character. Primarily winter themed armor. (Fur/leather) I originally was going to do some sort of prosthetic arm, but I don't think it'll fit well with the theme. Lots of Frazetta and Blizzard inspiration for this one! |

Very cool there guy. I'm digging the robot arms, and can't wait to see how you'll incorporate this high fantasy sort of look with the sci-fi stuffs.

Forgot to update these a while ago...
Here's one of the concepts ![]() And here is the Base Mesh. Thinking maybe the head is too big? Trying to go for more Blizzard/Darksiders proportions. I'll probably beef him up even more in Zbrush. if necessary. ![]() |

Nice start work so far, some Frazetta spirit resurgence?

Scuplt Update
Here's a progress shot of my zbrush scuplt. Still gotta tweak a lot, plus haven't really touched the arms or face yet.

Moar Sculpting
Transposed the arms for a better angle. Would like to call this done. Tried going for stylized anatomy with the sharp edges. Kinda happy with it for my first anatomy sculpt in zbrush. If you guys have any tips/suggestions, let me know! I'm not going to focus on the feet, hands and head, as they will be covered up in the end.

Looks mostly like you've got the muscle forms down. That's one enormous dude, something's not quite right, tho I can't really put my finger on it.
Can we get a couple full body ortho shots? May help suss out the problem. Only things that really grabs me from these screens... ...you seem to have an extra indent in the latissimus dorsi. ...the posterior deltoid to trapezius transition is looking a little odd. ...you may have shoe-horned in an extra muscle on the outside the leg right beside the top part of the rectus femoris. [I probably should have just scribbles over your image, I totally had to look the last name up.]

Be careful about how he is developed muscularly. He looks like he can barely move with that sort of body. I suggest you check out pics of the really muscular guys and compares the size of the muscles relative to the size of the joints and most flexible body parts. It's not a matter of copying the muscles of the body but understanding how they fit and move on the body.
