Ok so i have an update of my own. i tweaked the lighting a little and gave a little more depth to certain areas.

Nice start man, you could make a lighter foreground then a darker one in front of it, so you get intermediate tones, it'll create more depth on foreground. Keep it up!

Looks good, however a little boring. I'd try adding some accents of colour to the image, the current composition draws your eyes to the empty space between the buildings.

The last ones are years ahead man Good use of brushes and well I must admit that the very last one looks like overpaint is it?

its a photo-slap.... so everything is separate objects..... then i indeed painted into it.

so is the one above. apart from the snow on the ground.
