starting on quick concepting stage gona make a few more i like the head and the top armor part but the legs nead some more work and claws so gona make a few of variations

2. 1 and 3 look very flimsy with a pelvis that narrow, as if they could easily fall over. The legs on 1 look like they could never keep a body like that up.

Depends on what software you have access to. If you have it Topogun or 3D coat are made for that purpose.
Bur looking at your sculpt looks like Sculptris so Im going to assume your using Blender. Which does have some decent retopo tools. |

more WIP trying to do some texture maps tests and stuff and maybe gona try to use some more tris am at the 4768 tri's atm and a normal map bake test

your concept drawing show your character being a bit on the wider side, which helped pushed the nightmare idea. But your model is looking thin and seems to be missing a few legs.
