Ok, what I need to see: - 1 final image, this can be a collage of renders, or just one. (look at the winners gallery for ideas). Try to keep it clean. We will be judging on the character, so make sure we can see it. Also make sure your character is the focus. - either a scaled down image of your texture(s), or a link to your full size texture(s). Full size would be better. - 1 image of your wire frame. You can treat this the same as your final image. At least two different angles of your character. Include your polycounter, not just a polycount. Keep your entry in one post. This will help keep the thread clean and easy to read when time for voting. DUE DATE: September 2nd: 12:00am (GMT) Voting will be the following week, if you submit, you must vote, it's the right thing to do. ![]()

Here's my entry: Clover (I still don't know her name...) Textures: Texture Map Normal Map Shine Map Other Pics: 2nd Shot Character 1 Character 2 Close-up Wireframe Clay Wings Cage Bird By the way, every object seen is included in the polycount. (Even the feathers and the strings)

Maximus - 2420 tris
Didn't hit the poly limit, but after starting to move the rig around, I can see places that need more polys. Still, this if my first low poly comp, so I'm happy with the result and it was a lot of fun to do. I put a scaled down version of my texture map in with the wire (hope that's ok). The textures could have used more work, but I need to sleep - I work tomorrow. Lots of well made and original entries in here so far, it's going to be hard to judge! (Although Orochi hit a soft spot by doing Cammy, she's awesome!) See you all in the next comp, and if you've got a few hours to spare, trying giving the pinball machine animation challenge a shot. ![]() ![]() Last edited by DerekSc; 02-09-2006 at 11:18 AM.. |
