Triggerfish hiring for CG film
Cape Town-based Triggerfish Animation Studio is expanding its team for the production of "Zambezia", a pioneering CG animated feature to be produced in Africa.
The project has been in development for over a year and production is scheduled to begin March 2007, running through to September 2008.
Our production pipeline will be Maya based, and we are urgently looking to fill a wide variety of positions to build up our team of skilled and passionate individuals. The following contract positions are available for applications:
Lead Character Modeller
Lead Environment Modeller
Lead FX Artist
We are also open to considering short term consultancy positions for very experienced individuals who may not need to be involved in the entire production timetable.
Feel free to visit www.zambeziamovie.com for further information.
If you are interested in working on a ground-breaking project in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, please submit a clearly named reel/portfolio with a breakdown, resume, and brief cover letter indicating your area(s) of interest and ability to email@example.com, or to 23A Beach Rd, Muizenberg, 7945 before the end of February 2007.
Links to online portfolios are accepted, but please do not send large email attachments.
Applicant information will be kept on file for one year. You are welcome to submit any new/updated information after that time.
Applicants should be prepared to relocate to Cape Town, South Africa, for the duration of their contract, as we prefer to keep our team onsite at this stage. We apologize that due to the volume of submissions we will be unable to personally respond to each applicant or inquiry. If your application is successful, we will contact you.
