Well, first concept drawing.

Thought that I need take a break from modelling human females. Going for a different type of look than the typical robot/cyborg. Looks a bit too simple at this moment. Will be doing a lot more drawings and making them more complex. Needs more weapons I think, and a stronger armour. But has something like the effect I am looking for.

Very cool and spooky. When I first saw the face, I thought it looked like a cyclops turtle with a wide grin. Then I realized it was an upside down human head. This thing can kill the enemy just by scaring them to death.

platypus_green, your concept is very creepy and amazing in it's own right, but I don't think you want to continue on with him, he just doesn't have that "i'm going to eat your babies" feel to him.

Maybe try to incorporate the head design on something that is a little more massive and not so bug like, but the face is soo creepy!

Just my 2 cents, I know you will do great either way.

yeah i agree with the fact that it shouldnt look like a bug. btw is the concept inspired from 'Noein'

Now this is an interesting concept and i am sure that the finished article will be impressive. I agree about the comment that GraphicDragon made, it's face and general form does look like a smiling cyclops snapping turtle. I would grade it 9-10 for orriginality but 3-10 for visual intimmidation. This could be a bonus as if for example an enemy saw your machine they would probably stand around it in a group, pointing at it and showing there mates, they would probably be saying something down the lines of.......what the f**k is .........followed by the sound of there untimely death.
Keep up the good work, i am looking forward to seeing the finished model.

Another concept variation. Need to figure out how to allow this to carry weaponry. Also still looks too dull.
