i am working on a dark jedi to maximize my modeling skills hehe and i think that this is the best model i did so far...what do you guys think of it?

did you ever try to pose this pose? Couse i tried...and i cant hold my arms like this. The elbows must look at front, and not to side.
Before i pose a figure, take some photo about myself the same form, and studying it. Never try to make a scene just from your mind.

There is something wrong with the proportions in the face. Overall it's a decent model, I just think the subject matter is overdone. I wouldn't move on to texturing yet you still have a lot to fix with the modeling first.

I like him very much, he kinda looks like a dark jedi/sith. It's great, and I will keep on follwing it, only 1 thing, the position of the sword is weird, I think you can turn the sword better 180 degrees looksbetter I think.

Little update is the cape, i decided to delete the hair and give him something like a Tattoo from his face to his neck.

I love the detailing on this character, the cloth/clothing areas look superb. With regards to hair and other characteristics of a Dark Jedi, are you planning on having him like Anakin in Episode III? i.e - the long hair and rebellious nature that Anakin got seduced by the Dark Side? Or going for a Darth Sidius/ Darth Maul style? I'd suggest mabye blending the two, I like the idea of long hair, especially in the style of the first hair test. And I even like the fanged teeth effect, maybe a hybrid of Anakin Skywalker & Darth Maul, don't go for a full tattoed face, because it would be too obvious, but maybe a few marks on the face, fanged teeth, red slit like eyes, pale skin and jet black hair, this in my opinion would suggest the rogue Jedi Elements so you could still see fragments of the Good Jedi he once was, but most has been lost with the seduction of the Dark side. I know this is very similar to Anakin's back story, but I really like the way this is going. Maybe this could be a young Darth Sidius who then later became Anakin's/Darth Vader's Master.

Also i'd suggest to consider some battle scars too. again very similar to Anakin, but the similairty is obvious whichever way you look at it

I'm keen to see this go into the texturing side of things. Good luck with the uvmapping and unwrapping, I've yet to learn/discover how to do that effectively myself.

Thanks ClassicGamer you gave me many inspirations to finish this little jedi guy i wanted to make him more the dark side but that what you've said that the darkness and light could be merged together is really a nice idea a young darth sidious...nice hehe
