Thought I would keep the first post edited with my current WIP.

NEW STORY UPDATE --- March 5th ---

Jonus is the Grand Patriarch over the Cipbex people on his home planet Dvaion. 1,000 years ago the Cipbex society was extraordinarily advanced. Technologically, they were far superior to any civilization within their solar system. Every creature within depended upon the technology for every facet of their lives.

After the ultimate weapon was unleashed and all of technology became useless, pandemonium raged through the Cipbex people. Panic and anarchy ensued within government and families and through any form of collective activity. As the people struggled to survive without the help of technology, a child stepped forward with seemingly supernatural powers. This child was able to manipulate and control vegetation to his every whim. Among the ruins this child discovered a living staff, from which he was able to extend his power to all of the Cipbex people, and planet Dvaion slowly began to rebuild itself with the young child assuming his place at the helm of a rejuvenating society that was transforming into an immense power.

This young child was Jonus.

Jonus has reigned as Grand Patriarch over the Cipbex people for the past 900 years, and although he remains stalwart, there is unease rippling through the planet with apprehension that Jonus is nearing the end of his long life. 250 years ago Jonus’ heart failed. Yet, through his mystical power Jonus imagined an organism out of vegetation and with the last remnants of his human heart delicately intertwined the two to mold a beating, living heart. As he reaches the age of 912 years old the Cipbex people are terrified that without Jonus they will be lost in a world they can not control.

Without Jonus’ power the fate of the Cipbex civilization and the planet of Dvaion have no future.
