DWIII - 3D - ParsleyButter - Wandering Cloud
Update - February 29th
![]() First Post stuff: I've been struggling to come up with a decent idea, but I decided to go with a Stalker character wielding a Wind/Lightning artifact. ![]() Currently he's wielding a spear, but I may end up changing that after I play with a few other weapon types. ![]() His outfit design is still up in the air, but hopefully I can develop a better idea over the weekend. ![]() Rough head sketch. I'd like for my final shots to have this ink brush outline, but I don't think that's possible since there are no custom shaders allowed. Which is fine, really, because I know nothing about shaders! ![]() ![]() Refined the body a little more. I think I'm going to change his spear to a Bow. ![]() Roughed out a view of his back. Not really sure where I'm going to go with it, but I'll keep trying to figure it all out. The first bow I designed was kinda silly...so here are a few more ideas. I actually have a pretty clear idea as to how his artifact weapon works, but I'm still working on writing everything out (including his back story). Thanks for the comments ![]() |

I don't know why you don't have more comments this is really nice, I like the elemental design of the armor.

i like the ancient chinese cloud motifs. you might be able to throw another one on his sword holster, and see what he might look like with an over the top huge sword.

![]() Did some rough color overlays. Not really sure if I like this color scheme or not, but I'm sure I'll be making plenty of changes as I go along. I decided to turn his close range alternate weapon into a kind of double broadsword. Thanks for the encouraging words! |

really nice concepting work! love the way you have integrated so smoothly the artifacts elemental power into the armour design. Just looking at the images, before reading the text I knew this chap was wind / lightning. great job!

I agree how you integrated the wind is wicked, the bow is a perfect choice of weapon in my opinion. I look forward to more!

Excellent concept....But could use any other arrow holder? The one you have looks unique though, but for someone who is going to war...That arrow holder design is not cool.
Nice Job So far. |
