I like your concept idea, has a lot of potential.
I think your current model could use a lot more tweaking on shape, form and proportions. Right now she's very flat and straight. From your description, I would think she should be formed as a fairly alluring female form, so you'll have to get some good reference for shapely women and build from that.

Hello all,
Wondering on if I sould have wing in my concept, wing seem to be over done in fantasy characters. Also I re moved the thorns and replaced them with swords. I want the artifact to look something like a beetle and be very detailed in either patter or shape. I wanr the armour to be very organic looking yet functional in design. Here is some images of what I have been looking at and an update to the concept. Thanks for looking. |

Looking better. I the torso is leaning too far forward (rotate it backwards using the center of her pelvis as a pivot point), and I think her arms a little too long. But the shapely womanly figure is looking better.
I like the leaf armor ref you have too, though I think traditionally the leafing was layered int he opposite direction, layering the top leaves over the bottom and not the other way around.

Update
I been looking alot at ref images to help with finding inspration on where i want to take the concept.
I like the idea of the wing being a foldable and when they are out the main flesh part with be represented simliar to the effect scene when droping ink in water. See ref image below. This effect will be used to like as if it the vains on the wings. The armour I think can be made from the wing of butterfly or shells of beetels and she can use then to attack as well as defend by realeasing them to bombard the enmey with a swarm. I was thinking the colour plate to be very muted , dark and seductive. What you think? Also I think for the large part she will be naked, her body will be have pattern ( see image ) that cover certain area of her body ![]() |
