Steampunk/Post-Apoc Girl
Needed a little break from working on my 3D projects, so I figured I'd take up the tablet once again, after years of not creating at 2D work. Lets see how this turns out.
I'm already a bit farther into the project, but I figure I'd put up shorts of progress, from start to finish, for the hell of it. ![]() Starting with my initial sketches: http://img367.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ketch01jz1.jpg http://img371.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ketch05ry6.jpg Values and shading in BW: http://img501.imageshack.us/my.php?i...alues01eo9.jpg No sketchlines http://img90.imageshack.us/my.php?im...2nolinewb3.jpg Current: http://img397.imageshack.us/my.php?i...s03lineow3.jpg No sketchlines http://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?i...alues03ho9.jpg

Anyone have any suggestions on colors for her clothing? I'm at a loss for ideas... Color has never been my strong suit in my 2D art - I've always done work with charcoal in real life...
That said, any ideas? I like the colors overall, but some new ideas are always welcome. And yes, I know her face is hideous... I'm hoping to fix that somehow, soon... ![]()

not bad, but the way she holds the sphere at the end of her staff is weird. it looks like it has no mass at all, her fingers are just passing the surface and entering the capacity of the ball. except the thumb and pinkey.
and her left boob could be a little higher ![]() anyway, it's nice, keep it up
