Talking oger

hi

my current project is an ogre

i work at the normalma but the wrinkles i doesnt like

also the skin is to smooth

All crits and feedback welcome!

well, its definatly good work, but it hardy looks like an ogre at all for me (maybe i'm too much influenced by warcraft, who knows?)
plus the neck looks really bad! i mean, you could move the head more into the body, make him a short neck, but this looks like there is something growing underneath his skin...

and arent ogres one eyed?

haha, my thoughts, exactly. The warcraft ogres have shorter legs (I think) and are more fat. Also, maybe shortening his fingers a bit might make him look more like a big, stupid ogre. Dunno if that's what you're aiming for, though I also agree that the neck needs some work.

you mean a zyklop they have only one eye

the neck schould look like muscles but i think you´re right i have to change it a bit

should look like

ok i made some changes on the neck

hope looks better i think i worked to long on this need some time with some other things to see better what it looks like

i think i will erase all the wrinkles i done with alpha maps they look terrible will try to build them by hand

the problem is that its deflating on yours where it inflates in reality...
and their neck is strong, but still defined, yours is just enormously fat!

yeah, i actually meant that they have two heads, sry dunno where my mind was!

ok changed a bit more
i looked in some anatomy books how the muscles work there ok the tendons were little wrong i fixed it
on the back side i have crated some muscle and tendons which doesn´t exist by a man but its an ogre

i do like the back, looks really good, but i marked a spot on the front where i think there should really pop out a muscle, but instead it looks exactly like the opposite
(maybe i'm totally wrong?)

the hole is right mayby little big i´m not finished with the neck ans so on

on the picture you can see there is an hole an his muscles are tensed by the oger not

thanks for all the hints i hope i will finish the oger with all of them
