Real time characters doubt
hi, first of all i want to show one my first low poly human model, (please post your comments, and Suggestions)
i want to know if this poly level is suitable to be used in a videogame character. |

probably..
you've wasted some polys in the stomach area, shins, head and possibly the hands/forearms (can't really tell cos the image is too small) but it's not going to fail to function in any engine I've ever exported to. remember - you don't have to stick to quads, particularly if you're normal mapping. You can be pretty aggressive with your optimisation as long as the sillhouette looks good. |

so, what can i do to improve it?
and... (this is the best i can do with my computer) so, this high res model could work as a normal map? |

yep, you can use that model to create a normal map for a lower poly model.
