I just participate because I can learn a lot of things from guys like you, so I'm quite sure I'm not a match, but thanks for the nice comment, really. Anatomically your sculpting work is really something, you've got some good reference, and I know the demonic style of your character is just starting to get out. Even if you're not in the business, and I know it's sometime hard to find the time for sure, but if you can, you should keep it up because your guy's got style, and that's something unique. So, I will repeat exactly the same thing as discmage said because I feel the same: "Looking forward to seeing this guy grow up".

Nice sculpting work..everything is really well defined, I like it. I'm kinda interested in what's going on with his midsection, most of it's cut off in the image. It doesn't quite seem to fit, but then I can't see the rest of his body.

update
Here is a little more detail and I'm just working my way head to toe. The bottom half has no work at all really. Wondering if I should give him some Nike's b/c I think that would just make him pop.

Stealing your polygons!

That's intense, I'm diggin' it!
Really, don't have much useful to say, because its rockin' pretty hard already. Maybe some ornamentation or some more battle damage on that arm guard? Not too much, as having a place that's less detailed for the eye to rest is usually a good thing. Nikes? Made me think of the goddess Nike, which in turn made me think of those winged boots the messenger of the gods, Hermes, wore, something like that could be an interesting choice. All that brute strength with the speed and agility of a nimble messenger, now that'd be a scary combination.

Great looking sculpt. My only thought is he looks more sad than 'I'm going to burn your soul into the seven darkest regions of the nether hells'!...
Maybe you could give him more of a mean, angry, snarl or something? Otherwise really good work!

So I guess I'll work on giving him winged shoes, put a snarl on his face, and top it off with a nutsack. Sweet that'll look awesome.

Don't give him a snarl unless the snarl is part of the final model. You should add the snarl on the low poly version. The reason I say this is that the judges will get to see how 'animatable' your low poly mesh can be which is important to the industry and would probably get you bonus points when they judge your piece.
Cheers, Paul (mix_mash)

yeah I need some work on the cape and his boots a little more. Man, this is hard to finish in my spare time. It's like having another job. Wish me luck.
