i agree, good as concept, but not matte painting enough just look how sun is coming from two different direction on that ice...and the GI doesnt make much sense. Also no depth...

Combine both concepts?!?

I think, the first dark concept rocks.
Perhaps you should combine both ideas somehow. A flying icy rock, parts circling around the big block, physics being neglected where hell reigns.
And I like the ray of light, a bit like a tractor beam, the light at the end of the tunnel or similar ideas.

Hi Mateja,

Both the concepts are looking very nice! I like the environment that you've created in the first concept; seems more closer to being called a proper matte! I liked the icy ground that you've created in the second concept! Would suggest you to go ahead with the first concept, and remove that black hole element, and replace it with some type of gate to hell! Just my personal opinion! I like your progress very much; keep it up!
