Ryan's Sketchbook
So, I thought I would start a bunch of work-in-progress images here. The following images are 3D but I want to make it clear to the viewer that these are sketches, not final pieces. I feel, sometimes, that viewing a 3D model in ZBrush gives the impression that we are looking at a finished model.
These were all done in the early stages of beta testing ZBrush 3.5. Some use the really amazing Noise feature in ZBrush to create amazing details. |

Hey Ryan!
Good to see you here mate. Yes, the lines between classic mediums and those of the digital age are certainly blurring aren't they? It's great to see your style coming through in this way, and who better to demonstrate some of the new 3.5 features? Just got my own download through, but haven't had the chance to play with it yet. Really looking forward to messing around with Lightbox. I saw lots of New features that seem too good to be true (but which probably are), erm... loads actually. ZSpheres 2 definitely caught my eye. I feel like its almost a new piece of software. Hope I actually get the chance to get my head around it all. Any suggestions where to start with it? What feature would you be looking at first? |
