Myths and Legends general discussion

Hi All,

Welcome to our new challenges, we plan to run a new themed challenge across the 5 disciplines each month. Sometimes they will be speed challenges, sometimes not but we will always aim to have exciting subjects, big prizes (and lots of small prizes giving everyone a chance to win something) and a variety of ways to enter allowing you to focus, improve your skills and have fun

great way to pull everything together and killer first subject. I'm looking forward to seeing all the awesome artwork.

Great thinking with a general theme! That might trigger people to make a lot of full blown characters!

Nice challenge, I like the fact the theme is spread across all the disciplines, makes it much more of a "community" type event. Sweet loot too!

The new forum really smacked me in the face, love the new make-over.... Really awesome guys!!....ARRRRRGGGGGHHHH must... find...time... to... enter...all challenges.

Could you make it so that the "3dtotal forums" text is a part of the link back to the main page. Cause right now it's just the logo. Just a minor fix (don't know anywhere else to post this)

Hey Tom,

How long ago was that challenge where you had to model and rig a robot and could win a box workstation? going on 6 years? Just so you know that was what got me "addicted" to 3D

I'm curious. Are we able to enter more than one Myths and Legends catagory? Or are we limited to one entry?

I agree, the thematic approach is fantastic. It brings all the artists from different specialties together for 1 common theme. Gives everyone a change to participate.

Wow really! Yeah I remember that one, it may have been the last big comp we ran, hope these new ones inspire new people too and they turn out as good as you!

Yep, entering mutiple categories is fine

Thanks! I think it may have been Lynettes idea or one of the other mods, but it seems popular so far
