: )
Thanks guys!!! Soon he should look so much better hopefully. I just figured out the transfer between Zbrush and Max but only for bump map so far I will still need to figure out the right settings in Max for the Disp map. Without my computer exploding. So here s 2 pics, ZB and Max, this is just a test I will remodel the belt again in ZB, as that was only my first time : ), but i m pretty happy of how it looks, cant wait to do more. (Btw the max render is only a standard mat with only a bum map, so with texture and good shading, I think it will look pretty cool) ![]() ![]()

Really love this little guy man. The range of expressions you've gotten is awesome. I know it's probably the least of your concerns, but for me also the tongue was the main thing that jumped at me on the walk cycles. Just seemed a bit stiff.
(Btw MonkeyButt: You and I got the same name dude. Bit of a rarity, so far for myself at least. )

Bob Marley: Incredible work as per usual. My only gripe with the collar is the top edge looks a bit plain in comparison to how utterly awesome the rest looks. Will the collar have inside stitches too? Well I guess you wouldn't really see those...
Cheers!~

Hey Novian. thanks for the comment, yeah that the thing we wont see the inside, and the borders, I had some issue doing something with them and having the maps to stay accurate so I dicided to leave them, anyway its very small compare to the character so I think it shouldnt be noticable unless I do some close up in my animations but I doubt I will.
I just started sculpting the T-Rex and my god I m STRUGGLING!!!

i thought you finished it by now
nice progress, just can't w8 to see it done... it's like watching all those new modern age series. first we had the dyno. then came bones. we connected the dots. but hey then someone threw us a collar. i wonder what's gonna happen next. perhaps you'll surprise us and model a saddle for t-rex or a bone to chew on so you can forget about the tongue issue ![]() |

Hey rocneasta,
I wish he was finished too, so I could animate instead of wasting time on Zbrush that is slowly killing my computer. I though about the bone, and probably I ll do a picture with him playing with one, or doing something with it. A part from that after watching houres of tuts on how to use Zb, I finally started doing the T-Rex, I m not really happy, but I guess its better than nothing. Tho I m a bit confuse with how we see the details depending on the matcap. Hopefully it will come out well. Comments on how to imporve the scales would be really appriciated. More to come, hopefully soon!!!! ![]()

I m really confuse with Zbrush!!!
When I use the dragtool and use an alpha of some scales (or whatever), if I use it on the leg, if i drag it too far so that the alpha start to go around the edge, well the alpha get mirrors to the other side of the leg (not to the other leg) in a negative value (scale going inwards). I anderstand that it s probably better to use this dragtool without pulling the alpha too far so it actually start to get distorted when it passes the edge, but as I want my scales to be of different sizes I need to drag it more to get bigger one, so is their a technic to tell Zbrush not too affect the back faces??? Or should I create another alpha with less scales so I can drag it further without touching the edge. If your confuse and dont anderstand my probleme let me know and I ll post pictures. Thank you again for the help.
