Okay, another WIP...this time showing the character painting process: 1-sketch on pencils, 2- Basic color painting under the pencils and 3- Detailing over the pencils.

Suggestions and advices are welcome!

Pretty carismatic (does that word means

Alright, probably my last WIP until the final image, unless someone suggests me something good lol

The cyclops is almost done, and part of the 'tavern is complete'...now, only the customers and El Greco left, probably finish it today or tomorrow =D

What do you think guys??

Kinda....hehe, actually I found that this hat was used during middle age, but I adapted it to fit better with the hero

I think I'll leave the picture that way...or is there something I could change?

There are parts of this painting I absolutely love - like the couple in the doorway. They show excellent modeling and contrast. And as a whole, I still find the image enjoyable. The area around the club, hero, and table gets a little difficult to read. I think it would help to have a little more contrast between elements in that area - brighter highlights along the top edges of the elements in front (like the club and table) and deeper shadows below them so that they pop out more. Your spilled beverage could also have some really bright reflections so that it quickly reads as liquid.

Here's a really quick hack job I did to try and show what I mean (quick changes on the right):

Alright, back for one more tweak =D I did some color retouching so the picture could be more readable, and also some improvements on the clouds, the wine (to make it look more liquid) and the spectators =]

Note: the original file is over than 3450 px wide, so there's a bit more details to see in it
