Waw, this looks good. A bit too much light on the right part of the image though and the wave is a little too low res. That being said, hats off for completing this one.

Thanks atulkatdare, Dr.Rno, DB-TUNING, McFly and AndreasRocha, your comments are very appreciated. Hope to see you in next challenges!!
McFly, you are right, the wave has a good resolution, but the original image is a bit blurred and i didn't notice it until it was too late. I think i need glasses, hehe About the light, it's a thing that i have to work on. Finishing the mattes with a correct mood is my weak point. |

Matte what?

I actually like your mood and execution. It looks believable and the action looks interesting. Congrats and well done!

Great work!. The wave has a nice feel to the way it's hitting the buildings.

hi hunted23, there is no an ocean brush in this image, it's just photo manipulation and for the splash i used a scattered brush with dual brush option enabled

yes, blending layers, cloning, a lot of color correction... but you need to paint some parts of the image also (part of the buildings, the splash, meteors, etc.)
with other matte paintings with a far background or if you can't find an image reference you will need to paint more
