This is truly a behemoth machine, no dought about that.

There has been talk of something similar for drilling on the ice fields of Europa. But for that it would have to be nuclear powered.

So what happens to those delicate lasers at the end of the unit when you hit bottom?

@alfonzoaqui: if it hits the bottom, it can either crawl back using its tracks, or stay at the bottom (or in a alternate tunnel). they did that for one of the two TBM's that dug the eurotunnel (Dover-Calais) aswell.

I hope i can finish this project before the deadline arrives.
Though this week i can enjoy a vacation, so no school this week

Next few weeks i have "filler" lessons until the exams arrive, they are only 8 hrs a week, devided over 2 days.

I also started a second project of modelling the SR-2 Normandy from Mass Effect 2.
