Details, discussion and FAQ's

Each week we give a high-res photo set of a new and interesting object for you to model as accurately as possible.

This mini challenge area aims to serve the following purposes.

1. Make use and promote our free high-res ref and texture library
2. Let people who enjoy modelling have some purpose, direction and fun with other like-minded artists.
3. Give artists somewhere to practice at producing accurate models from high quality photo-references and gain feedback.
4. Help 3DTotal to grow our free resource libraries. We put a lot into these and thought that if the community are willing to submit these models from these challenges we can expand to free textures library to include some meshes also.
5. Win more challenge awards! They are only little tiny gif's but we know you love 'em - Rich has just made you a new set The winners are chosen purely on how close your final model matches the object in the photos.

This thread can serve for the general questions and comments, so please post any below.
