Yeah, good thing I got some vacation starting next week and the extra days in July are a big help too, I'll prolly end up mixing all three mediums since it's allowed, but it's gonna be 3d mostly.

Started blocking out the body, here is some progress...thank you for all the comments guys.
Also wanted to ask your opinion on the face, should I go with the unmasked version or masked?  |

both options can be a good choice, i would vote for the masked one, because it would differ even more from a regular spartan soldier that way.
Nice progress so far! pay attention to the joints: wrist, and ankle. They very weird right now. And the feet could use some tweaking too. But i guess it doesn't really matter, coz it'll be covered with a shoe or something  Keep it up!

Not sure.....maybe masked would work. I think your start is pretty cool, the feet need alot more detailing still on the feet but of course that will come later on because you've only just started out of this character. But so far so good.

masked it is then, I'll try to see if I can implement the Spartan helmet in a cool way to his head...maybe coming out of it. |
