3d Max 2011 compatibility problem

I need to open a 3d Max 2011 with Max 2009 but i cant , It says there are some missing .dll , I wonder if anyone knows how to fix it or some plugin or script.

No fix I'm afraid


you can use FBX to transfer from later versions to earlier versions but you will lose any cunning max specific controllers etc.

I learned in a conversation with a reseller this morning that it's possible to save back to earlier versions with max 2011 so, um, do that.

I believe that you can only save back to version 2010 so FBX may still be the best bet.
