Bad Robot Model WIP

Hey guys did this in 3dsmax and just was looking for some feedback.

The concept is by Artonik from Dominance war IV.

I want to texture it but have no idea how to go about doing it.

Looks great. If you go to http://www.3dtotal.com/ and choose tutorials/3dsmax, and then choose Texture, you will get some great tutorials. With your skill I think you can do something really cool.

i like the model, but the textures need work. I think rather than have it all one colour you should have the metal painted. so that it breaks up the model rather than having it flat colour.

Texturing

Yea, i was thinking to painting the textures in like paint on metal that has been scratched off too.. But i like the idea of giving different objects different materials like the gold on the front of the robot. Thx

thats fair enough. i still thinking texturing wise u need something to help break up the image abit. maybe you should try painting over your image, it may help you develope your concepts
