3DS Max, Main UI bridge shortcut

So, in my adventures to become a better modeller i've been playing around with some shortcuts and have found out that the graphite tools "Swift loop" tool is amazing.

There is one issue though, "Keyboard shortcut Override Toggle" has to be turned off before can make any shortcuts for the graphite tools, this alone stops me from using a few of my shortcuts which have been easily fixed by doing a bit here and there.

There is one tool which i cannot make a new shortcut for though, the bridge tool, I have been looking around the interwebs using google and people have reported similar problems, and the only one answer i've found so far is to turn "Override toggle" back on, which i dont want to do.

TL;DR: How do i make a shortcut for the bridge tool without having "Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle" turned on.

Thanks for reading, im looking forward to your answers.

Thanks in Advance.

It appears to run through the same tool as the standard edit poly so you're in the same position I've been for the last 5 or 6 years.
As far as I can work out it can't be done in any way that makes it quicker than using the button.

In fact on 2012 they seem to have removed it completely from the customise UI options now I've checked.

the fastest way of getting to it is in the command panel > edit poly > edit edges rollout - navigating through graphite is a pain in the bum imo

There is a quick (ish) work around to hot key the bridge tool.
Type this into the maxscript listener

$.EditablePoly.Bridge ()

Highlight the text in the listener and drag/drop it onto your tool bar to create a macro button.
Goto customize user interface.
Select Main UI/All Commands.
Scroll down to the last numbered Macro item. (it will be Macro1 if you haven't made any before)
Create your hot key and save.
You can now delete the macro button.
