Question Importing animation from Face Robot (XSI) to Maya

Hi all, sorry if this is the wrong section :-S Anyway, here goes...

I've been using Maya for a few years now and want to continue using it for my work, including some facial animation. I've been playing around with Face Robot in XSI and got some cool results, although I'm kinda struggling with getting my animated head mesh back into Maya from XSI. I've been reading the documentation and had 'some' luck, but not the results I'd hoped.

I managed to export as a .xsi and import the model into Maya using Crosswalk, with some functioning rig controls. However, I can't seem to import the animation I created in XSI and wanted to figure out how to do so.

Also, I wanted to know about the possibility of re-attaching my already animated head onto an animated body when brought back into maya, roughly what a good workflow for this would be, etc.

Has anyone had some experience with this? Any information would be much appreciated, thanks
